asked the Minister for Social Welfare if, following the exhortations of the Minister for the Environment in respect of the use of unleaded petrol, he has corresponded with all the semi-State bodies under his aegis directing them to use unleaded petrol in all of the petrol driven vehicles which are under the control, ownership or leasing of those semi-State companies; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The only semi-State body under the aegis of my Department is the Combat Poverty Agency and there are no vehicles under the control, ownership or leasing of the agency.
