Vol. 389 No. 2

Written Answers. - Payment to Communications Company.

113.

asked the Minister for Finance the total amount of money either already paid or payable by his Department to Carr Communications Limited since March 1987; the purpose and for whom the company was engaged; the expenditure to date or now owed to this company in relation to either himself, his immediate predecessor or the Minister of State attached to his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A total of £2,000 has been paid to Carr Communications Limited by my Department and its associated offices since March 1987 in respect of the attendance of five staff members at communications courses. No further amounts are owed to the company.

The company has not been retained for service to either myself, my predecessor or my Minister of State since 1987 and no moneys have been paid nor are any outstanding for this purpose.
