Vol. 389 No. 7

Written Answers. - Companies Taxation Affairs.

118.

asked the Minister for Finance if a company (details supplied) in Dublin 7 has been wound up owing £97,000 in PAYE, PRSI and VAT to the Revenue Commissioners; the arrangements which are being made to have this money collected; if the directors of this company will be liable for this debt if they establish a new company in the same business; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the information sought cannot be furnished since taxpayers are entitled to confidentiality in relation to their taxation affairs.
