Vol. 391 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Written Answers. - Purchase by Stationery Office.

8.

asked the Minister for Finance the amount of paper which is purchased by the Stationery Office on an annual basis for Government offices and related agencies; in respect of such purchases, the total volume of paper used and the approximate capital cost of such purchases; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The value of paper purchased by the Stationery Office in the year 1988 was approximately £3,159,000. Information regarding the volume of that paper is not readily available, and a disproportionate amount of work and time would be involved in obtaining it.
