Vol. 391 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Written Answers. - Parking of Trailers.

50.

asked the Minister for the Environment whether he proposes to introduce legislation to curb the indiscriminate parking of trailers on public property; whether he intends to update legislation governing the problem of wandering animals; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have no proposals, at present, to update existing legislation relating to the parking of trailers on public property. My area of responsibility in the area of wandering animals relates solely to dogs under the Control of Dogs Act, 1986. I have no proposals to update this Act.
