asked the Minister for Justice the number of gardaí at present stationed in Garda stations in the following areas of Dublin: (a) Bray, (b) Raheny, (c) Howth, (d) Coolock, (e) Santry, (f) Clontarf, (g) Malahide, (h) Swords; and the corresponding figures for (i) 1986, (ii) 1987 and (iii) 1989.

The particulars sought in the question are set out in the following table. The precise allocation of Garda manpower to individual stations varies from time to time in the light of changing needs and circumstances. The numbers assigned to Raheny and Coolock stations, which are District headquarters stations, include specialist staff and units that operate on a District basis.
