Vol. 394 No. 4

Written Answers. - School Transport.

264.

asked the Minister for Education if she will provide transport to Ballinamore national school, County Leitrim, for a person (details supplied) who is entitled to same from the same pick-up point as operated for other members of her family previously.

The Deputy is understood to refer to a spur which operated up to 1981 off the main transport route to Ballinamore national school, County Leitrim. The person referred to lives about .7 of a mile from the route and is, therefore, well within the two mile and three mile distance criteria set out in my Department's current primary school transport scheme.
