Vol. 396 No. 9

Written Answers. - Winchester Three Appeal.

Tony Gregory

Question:

49 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if there will be a Government observer at the appeal of the Winchester Three on 2-3 April 1990; if the Government are concerned about this case; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Government intend to have an observer present at the leave to appeal hearing of this case next month. In the circumstances, and as the case is still before the courts, it would not be appropriate for me to make any further comment on it.
