30 Mr. Connor asked the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works intend to recruit temporary outdoor workers on the Boyle catchment drainage scheme, County Roscommon, 1990; if so, the number to be recruited; when recruitment will commence; and the length of time any such temporary employment will last in the current year.

The possibility of recruiting seasonal workers on the Boyle catchment drainage scheme is currently being examined in the Office of Public Works in the light of the resources available for drainage construction works this year.
