Vol. 397 No. 9

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

John Bruton

Question:

149 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a headage grant in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Meath has not been paid.

Payments to this applicant under the 1989 calf premium and special beef premium schemes have already been made.

His payment under the 1989 suckler cow scheme is being processed and will issue shortly.

He is not eligible for grants under the 1989 cattle and equines, beef cow or sheep headage schemes as his lands are outside the disadvantaged areas.

Madeleine Taylor-Quinn

Question:

150 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will issue payment of a farm modernisation grant to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

The application is being processed and payment will issue as soon as possible.
