73 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Education if she is aware that the developers of the site at Carysfort College, Blackrock, County Dublin, have indicated that they sought information from her Department regarding the allocation of open space to the existing national school; if she will indicate when her Department will be in a position to respond to the request; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
I am aware of the situation in relation to Carysfort Convent national school and the question of the availability of open space referred to.
The whole matter has recently been discussed between a senior official from my Department and a representative of the developers. My Department propose to contact the convent school authorities at an early date with a view to having tripartite discussions with the developers in an effort to bring the matter to a satisfactory conclusion.
