Question:77 Mr. L. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Finance when a tax rebate will be paid to persons (details supplied) in County Wexford.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that the taxpayers in question were married on 5 August 1989. The inspector of taxes has written to them requesting submissions of both their P60s so that their liability for the tax year 1989-90 can be reviewed and the appropriate relief due granted. Any tax over-deducted will be refunded.
