Vol. 398 No. 8

Written Answers. - National Lottery Fund Allocations.

Roger T. Garland

Question:

60 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for Finance, in relation to funding from the national lottery, if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the delay in making a decision adversely affects potential recipients of funding for this year; when a decision will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The allocations of national lottery funds were outlined in the Revised Estimates for Public Services presented to the Oireachtas on 30 March 1990. The Estimates were presented to the Oireachtas as soon as they had been finalised by the Government.

A more detailed description of the programmes for which lottery funds were provided was laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas on 9 April.
