53 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Education if she will authorise the construction of the extension to Oldtown national school, County Dublin, with a view to having this completed prior to the commencement of the new school year in September 1990.
My Department have sanctioned a grant towards the cost of a utility room at Oldtown national school, County Dublin. Tenders which have been submitted for the scheme are being examined and a decision will be conveyed to the school authorities at an early date. I am not in a position, at this point, to say when the works will be completed.
