Vol. 400 No. 6

Written Answers. - Swords (Dublin) School Facilities.

Seán Ryan

Question:

54 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Education if she will make a statement on the lack of physical education equipment in St. Colmcille's boys' national school, Swords, County Dublin; and given that the only equipment available to the school was financed from local contributions; if she will arrange to have a set of equipment provided.

The authorities of St. Colmcille's boys' national school, Swords, County Dublin did not apply to my Department for the provision of physical education equipment. The matter has been discussed recently with the school authorities, however, and my Department will now consult with its local inspector so as to establish what equipment would need to be provided.
