22 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Health the likely cost over-runs for (a) the General Medical Service, (b) health boards and (c) voluntary public hospitals over and above the estimate provided in 1990; and the explanation for the overrun in each case.
As discussions are continuing with the agencies on the likely expenditure levels for 1990, I am not in a position yet to provide the information requested by the Deputy.
However, I expect to have the relevant figures within the next few weeks and I will write to the Deputy when the information is available.
