To amend the Sweepstakes Acts so that unclaimed prize money and accrued interest, totalling about £480,000, can be paid to certain former Sweepstakes employees. |
Dáil passed the Bill on 27 November; the Second Stage in the Seanad Stage in the Seanad is scheduled for 5 December and it is hoped to take the remaining Stages on either the same day or shortly afterwards. |

2. Child Care Bill, 1988. |
To up-date the law in relation to the care of children, particularly those who have been assaulted, ill-treated, seriously neglected, sexually abused, or who are otherwise at risk. |
