142 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Justice if he will outline his plans and their priority rating in relation to the provision of new Garda stations at Ballinrobe, County Mayo, and Castlebar, County Mayo; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
A site has been purchased for the erection of a new Garda station in Ballinrobe, County Mayo, and it is proposed to build a major extension to the Garda station in Castlebar, County Mayo. It is not possible to indicate, at this stage, when work on these projects will commence, but there will be no avoidable delay.
