Listed below are the names of members of each visiting committee attached to all prisons and places of detention.
My predecessor as Minister for Justice, Mr. Gerard Collins, appointed Mr. Louis McIntyre to St. Patrick's Institution and also the Committee to Wheatfield Place of Detention, with the exception of Mrs. Mary McShortall who was appointed by me. I appointed all the other visiting committees. It is not the practice to publish members' addresses.
