36 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for the Environment if he will give details of the consultancy services provided to his Department during 1990 costing £160,000; if he will give details of the proposed consultancy services for 1991; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The following consultancy services were provided from subhead A2 of my Department's Vote in 1990: communications service; studies on the use of biodegradable packaging, waste recycling, incinerator facility, maintenance of the driver testing system, industrial discharges in Ringaskiddy, housing requirements, home improvements and computer security.
The provisional outturn for these services was £175,392.
While the details of the proposed consultancy services for 1991 cannot be given at this stage, it is expected that services of a broadly similar nature will be provided.
