135 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the price control measures which apply to (a) leaded petrol, (b) unleaded petrol (c) domestic heating oil (d) road diesel and (e) kerosene for domestic use.

136 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the price changes which have been sanctioned since August, 1990 in respect of (a) leaded petrol, (b) unleaded petrol (c) domestic heating oil (d) road diesel and (e) kerosene for domestic use.

I propose to answer Questions Nos. 135 and 136 together. Maximum prices orders are made as necessary under the prices Acts, 1958 to 1972, in respect of premium leaded petrol, unleaded petrol and road diesel following a monthly review by my Department of international petroleum produce prices. Price control measures do not apply to heating oil or to kerosene for domestice use.

With respect to the controlled products, the following schedule indicates the changes in the maximum retail prices set by order since August 1990:
