Written Answers. - Remedial Works Scheme.

Bernard Allen

Question:

170 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make sufficient funds available to Cork Corporation, to carry out the long awaited refurbishment proposals for the Glen, Mayfield, and Togher areas.

Capital allocations totalling £11.6 million have been made over the past five years to the corporation under the remedial works scheme in respect of the refurbishment of designated estates including the Glen, Mayfield, and Togher. The allocations for 1991 will be notified to local authorities as soon as possible.
