Question:202 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education when grant aid will be approved and paid to a school (details supplied) in County Cork.
Written Answers. - County Cork School Grant Aid.
The appropriate grant payment in respect of the improvement scheme approved for the school in County Cork referred to by the Deputy was recently paid. The school authorities carried out a number of minor additional items of work without seeking the Department's approval and the question of a grant in this regard is being considered in consultation with my Department's local professional advisers.
I will keep the Deputy informed of the position regarding this matter.
