Question:

42 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Education when she will appoint a chairperson to the Youth Exchange Bureau; and if she will outline (1) any other changes she intends to make to the membership of the board and (2) any proposals she has in relation to the operations and programme of the board.

I would like to inform the Deputy that Mr. Gordon Colleary has agreed to accept an appointment as chairperson of the Youth Exchange Bureau.

Furthermore, I am in the progress of appointing two extra board members. A statement will be issued as soon as these arrangements have been finalised.
