Question:

136 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the fact that (a) Comhairle le Leas Óige, Baile Átha Cliath has been unable to replace four members of staff for over one year and (b) that this is adversely affecting the operation of its youth work services; and if she will ensure that the appointments are made as soon as possible.

My Department have received a request from City of Dublin VEC to fill four out of school activities officer vacancies of Comhairle le Leas Óige. My Department are examining the circumstances of the case further and a communication will be sent to City of Dublin VEC as soon as possible.
