Question:202 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Health if he has satisfied himself that suppliers of provisions to the Southern Health Board are receiving payment within a reasonable period of time.

Cash is made available to the health boards based on cash profiles issued to each board at the beginning of the year. These profiles are linked to the approved level of expenditure for the boards. The timing of the issue of creditors' payments is a matter for each board to decide.
