Vol. 407 No. 3

Written Answers. - Dublin School Pupil Representation.

Roger T. Garland

Question:

208 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the views of the students at Coláiste Dhúlaigh, Coolock are not represented at any managerial level and that this is leading to frustration between students and management; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The question of pupil representation on boards of management of vocational schools is a matter in the first instance for the relevant vocational education committee. In the case of Coláiste Dhúlaigh, Coolock, the issue raised by the Deputy would be a matter for consideration by the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee.
