Vol. 407 No. 3

Written Answers. - Departmental Funding.

Michael Creed

Question:

56 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if sufficient moneys have been made available to his Department for payment of agriculture grants and subsidies in the current year.

Yes, I am satisfied that, following the budget increase from £393 million to £401 million in the gross 1991 expenditure provision for the Vote for Agriculture and Food, there are sufficient voted moneys available to my Department to meet the cost of grants and subsidies that may come up for payment during the course of the year.
