Vol. 407 No. 8

Written Answers. - Dublin all-Irish School Location.

Nora Owen

Question:

76 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education the plans she has for choosing a suitable site for the all-Irish Scoil an Duinninigh which is currently on the site of the Malahide Community School, in view of the fact that when the Irish school opened on this site it was agreed by her Department that it was on a temporary basis and due to expansion it is necessary to relocate the school on a more suitable site.

I am aware of the situation in relation to Scoil an Duinninigh which is accommodated on a temporary basis on the site of the Malahide Community School. This whole question is being considered at present and my Department will communicate with the management of both schools at the earliest possible date.
