Question:77 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Education if she will outline the number of second level places in the Dunboyne catchment area and their locations.

As Dunboyne is within the greater Dublin post-primary catchment area, it would not be feasible to provide the precise information sought by the Deputy.
In general, post-primary pupils from the Dunboyne area attend Dunshaughlin Community School, Coolmine Community School, Maynooth Vocational School and schools in Dublin city.
While it is considered that they are adequately catered for in these centres at present, population growth and post-primary school provision in the Dunboyne/Ashbourne/Dunshaughlin area continue to be kept under review by my Department.
