Question:487 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received the revised proposals for the provision of a new fire station at Naas, County Kildare; if these proposals incorporate a reduction in cost compared with earlier submissions; the reason earlier submissions were not acted upon by way of financial response from his Department; whether the present proposals are likely to meet the approval, and if the necessary finance will be allocated either in the current year or in 1992; if his attention has been drawn to the need to respond favourably on this issue in the near future; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
