Question:94 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for the Environment when he will approve requests from Limerick County Council to provide a speed limit at Strand in County Limerick.
Written Answers. - Revision of Speed Limit.
Proposals by Limerick County Council for the revision of speed limits in the county include a proposal for the introduction of a 40 mph limit on the Newcastle West-Tournafulla road at Strand. These proposals are being examined in my Department and the necessary amending regulations will be made as soon as possible.
