Question:183 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for Education if his attention has been drawn to the infringement of a public right-of-way in the Kerry Way at Sneem and the action he intends to take to have this matter rectified.
Written Answers. - Kerry Way Obstruction.
I am aware of the obstruction at Sneem referred to by the Deputy. The position is that the specific location is not part of the Kerry Way. The route on which the obstruction is placed was considered as a possible route for the Kerry Way, when it was being established, but as the obstruction was already in place a detour was made. The extra distance caused by the detour is insignificant.
