Question:105 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Education if he will ensure that a caretaker is provided at St. Thomas's senior school, Jobstown, Dublin 24, at an early date.

Under the Programme for Economic and Social Progress it is proposed to introduce a phased programme, commencing this year, to expand the provision for caretaking and clerical services to national schools with 100 pupils upwards and to post-primary schools with 200 pupils upwards.
I am not in a position to say at this point when it may be possible for St. Thomas' senior school to benefit under this programme.
