Question:

91 Mr. G. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the progress, if any, which has been made in sanctioning the scheme for culverting the stream at Parkcourt estate in Ballyvolane in Cork which was submitted by Cork Corporation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 89, 90 and 91 together.

Contract documents for each of these schemes are under consideration in my Department. Confirmation is awaited from Cork Corporation that all planning requirements for the works at Parkcourt estate have been completed. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when there will be a decision on the schemes.
