Vol. 416 No. 3

Written Answers. - Planning Application Fees.

John V. Farrelly

Question:

92 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the range of fees charged by each planning authority for successful planning applications for the building of a private home throughout the country; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The scale of fees for planning applications is set out in the Local Government (Planning and Development) (Fees) Regulations, 1984. The amount of the contribution, if any, required to be paid on foot of a condition attached to a permission is a matter to be determined by the planning authority, or by An Bord Pleanála on appeal, in the circumstances of each case.
