Written Answers. - Provision of Extra Classrooms.

85 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education the reason tenders have not yet gone out for the provision of two extra classrooms at a school (details supplied) in Dublin 15; whether he will initiate immediate action so that the classrooms will be available for occupation as promised in September 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Tenders will be invited shortly for the provision of the two additional prefabricated classrooms at the school in Dublin 15 referred to by the Deputy. On receipt of a suitable tender the school authorities will be authorised to proceed with the contract. It is expected that the new accommodation will be available for September next.
