187 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance if he will request the Office of Public Works to investigate the possibility of erecting a monument in Carriganimma village to the memory of Art Ó Laoghaire, who was killed in 1773.

The erection of this type of memorial is not a function of the Commissioners of Public Works.
