213 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance if he will instruct the Office of Public Works to construct a monument in Carriganimma village dedicated to the noted Irish writer, Canon Peadar O Laoghaire; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The erection of memorials of this type is not a function of the Commissioners of Public Works.
