Question:444 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Labour when redundancy payments will be made to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 22, and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person concerned will receive her statutory redundancy lump sum payment from the social insurance fund within the next week.
Claims for payment from the social insurance fund of their statutory redundancy lump sums were received from the former employees of the company concerned — which is in receivership — on 4 March 1992. Documentation in support of the claims was sought from the receiver-manager of the company and was obtained on 12 March 1992.
