278 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if the Milk Quota Appeals Tribunal, which deals with applications for additional quotas to herdowners, whose base year production was severely limited by disease outbreak, is still operational; and if so, if it will entertain an application from a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

The Milk Quota Appeals Tribunal is continuing to consider applications from producers for whom the introduction of the milk quota system caused severe hardship. I have arranged for an application form to be sent to the person concerned.
