Vol. 418 No. 7

Written Answers. - Central Statistics Office Location.

Roger T. Garland

Question:

115 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for Finance whether his preference for the relocation of the Central Statistics Office in Cork is for a green field site in an area of high unemployment such as the Mahon or Blackpool districts, or if he is seeking the Central Statistics Office to locate in the city centre; and if he will outline the type of criteria he intends using in making his decision.

The decentralised offices of the Central Statistics Office will be located at Mahon.
