106 Mr. Pattison asked the Minister for Social Welfare if, in view of the severe unemployment crisis, he will outline the proposals, if any, he is prepared to implement to facilitate additional voluntary long term job sharing arrangements in the social welfare services; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Job sharing arrangements are currently available on a long term voluntary basis in my Department to serving civil servants.
