Question:

58 Mr. G. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Education if he will make a statement regarding the advisory council responsible for post-primary education in Cork city; and if he will give details of the members and the number of times they have met over the past five years.

The advisory council for the Cork City area, in addition to a similar one for Dublin city, operated during a period of expansion, starting particularly during the late sixties and seventies.

The last meeting of the body was held on 23 October 1985.
