Question:

41 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed extension to Alt national school, Castlefin, County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The preparation of tender documents in respect of the proposed new school at Alt, County Donegal is currently in hands and these will be completed at the earliest possible date. The question of inviting tenders for the project will then arise for consideration in the context of the available capital and ongoing commitments. A decision will be conveyed to the school authorities when there have been developments in this regard and I will also advise the Deputy.
