Vol. 419 No. 10

Written Answers. - Role of Independent Radio and Television Commission.

Vincent Brady

Question:

44 Mr. V. Brady asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if she has satisfied herself with the role of the Independent Radio and Television Commission; if changes are being considered; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The role of the Independent Radio and Television Commission is laid down in the Radio and Television Act, 1988. As part of my review of broadcasting, I will be looking at the operation of all legislation in this area.
