87 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if she will outline (a) the total tourist receipt for 1991 and (b) the breakdown of these receipts between foreign visitors and home holidaymakers; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Estimates for tourism receipts in 1991 total £1.7 billion, including £1.2 billion from overseas visitors and estimated expenditure of £.5 billion on home holidays.
