Vol. 423 No. 1

Written Answers. - Dublin Inner City Development.

Ruairí Quinn

Question:

314 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received representation regarding the Lower Clanbrassil Street Development (details supplied); if he will give details of the advice his Department has given to the Roads and Traffic Section of Dublin Corporation in respect of modifications which may be necessary to be made to this inner city street; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It would be a matter for Dublin Corporation, in the first instance, to propose any modifications they might consider necessary to the approved scheme of works which they are implementing at Clanbrassil Street. No such modifications have been proposed by the corporation. Accordingly, the question of giving advice on the matter does not arise.

I have received the representations referred to and have responded along the lines of this reply.
