342 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make adequate provision in the Estimates to ensure that money is available to complete stage two works on the N20 Cork/Mallow road, so that this vital artery is opened on schedule.

The 1992 road grants available to Cork County Council are sufficient to meet expenditure arising on the N20 Cork/Mallow project in the current year. Funds will be made available to enable the local authority to bring the project to completion in 1994, as scheduled.
