Vol. 424 No. 2

Written Answers. - County Dublin School.

Eamon Gilmore

Question:

132 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education the progress, if any, which has been made to carry out improvement works to St. Kevin's Primary School, Sallynoggin, County Dublin; if he will list the works which are to be carried out; and when and by whom such work will be done.

Agreement has been reached with the Board of Management on a variety of improvement works under a selective refurbishment scheme at St. Kevin's Primary School, Sallynoggin, County Dublin. Tenders have been received and examined. Provision had been made in the Capital Programme for Primary Schools in 1992 for the proposed improvement scheme and my Department will contact the school authorities at the earliest possible date regarding the placing of the contract. The question of proceeding to contract stage will be considered in due course in the light of the financial allocation for 1993 when determined and the other commitments and priorities.
